Event overview

The HYROX Americas Regional Championships will take place in Washington, D.C. on 7–8 March 2026. The event is an open-entry championship for athletes from North, Central, and South America and includes Open Weights Divisions. No prior qualification is required to enter the Open divisions. The Regional Championships serve as a direct pathway to the HYROX World Championships and offer qualification slots for certain Age Groups in Open divisions.

Entry, eligibility and ticketing

Only citizens of countries within the designated Americas region are eligible to compete. Temporary visa holders are not eligible. Proof of eligibility is required via a valid government-issued ID. Athletes with multiple citizenships may take part in only one Regional Championship. Ticket buyers must personalize each Athlete Ticket during purchase by entering first and last name and an email address. The Flex Add-On option allows refunds and one name change up to one day before the event: 100% refund up to 31 days before the race and 50% refund from 30 to 7 days before the race. The Flex Add-On does not allow transfers to another event, division, or day. Tickets purchased without Flex do not allow changes or refunds. The Flex Add-On cannot be added after purchase.

On-site services and race information

Venue details are listed as to be announced. Athlete check-in requires ID and checking in on behalf of others is not allowed; athletes can check in only on the day they are competing. Race times and lap details are provisional and subject to change; start time changes are not permitted. The race package includes a finisher patch, live leaderboard results, individual finisher times with split timings, Age Group award ceremonies, aid stations before, during and after the race, spectator viewing from the Thunderdome, an entertainment zone, and opportunities to purchase professional photos.
