Declan Carter Victory Run
The Declan Carter Victory Run is a community running event held on August 29, 2026, in Northville at Our Lady of Victory Church and School. The event benefits the Declan Carter Foundation, which supports athletics, academics, and healthy living for youth in the community and surrounding area.
The event features a road course through the streets of downtown Northville and the new Riverwalk, with both start and finish at Our Lady of Victory. Distances offered include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Mighty Mini Mile (1 mile)
Registration opens June 2, 2026 and closes August 18, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $40.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the mile. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by August 15; after that date shirts are available while supplies last.
In 2025 the Declan Carter Foundation reported support from over 1,000 volunteers and participants and contributions that included $130,000 to the Northville Ford Field Playground and $25,000 to the Our Lady of Victory athletic program. The foundation also sponsors Northville High School and Mercy High School track and field teams and intends to expand support to more schools and running programs in Southeast Michigan, including the YMCA’s Girls on the Run program.
