About the race
The Declan Carter Victory Run is a family friendly running event in Northville, Michigan that benefits the Declan Carter Foundation. The foundation supports athletics, academics, and healthy living for youth in the local community and surrounding area.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) course through downtown Northville and the new Riverwalk
- Mighty Mini Mile (1 mile) starts and finishes at Our Lady of Victory
Both routes start and finish at Our Lady of Victory Church and School, located at 133 Orchard Drive, Northville. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by August 1st; after that date shirts are available while supplies last.
Registration opens on June 2, 2026 and closes on August 16, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $40.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the Mighty Mini Mile.
The Declan Carter Foundation reported contributions and support from prior activity, including $130,000 to the Northville Ford Field Playground and $25,000 to the Our Lady of Victory athletic program, as well as sponsorship of local high school track and field teams. The foundation plans to expand support to more schools and running programs in Southeast Michigan, including the YMCA’s Girls on the Run program.
