Summer Sizzler - Ann Arbor
The Summer Sizzler is a multi-distance running event held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The event includes several road race options to accommodate different preferences and age groups:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 15k
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (50 meters)
The 5k, 10k, and 15k races feature chip-timing with live results and awards. Participants in these distances receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is an untimed run that also provides participants with a bib, shirt, and medal. For children aged 10 and under, the Kids Dash offers a 50-meter untimed course. Children may participate in the dash for free if they do not require the event shirt and medal.
Post-race amenities include free photos, treats at the finish line, and Kona Ice. A "Volunteer then Run" registration option is available for those who wish to assist with event logistics before participating in a race. A virtual race option is also offered for those unable to attend in person.
Registration for the 5k and 10k includes youth-based pricing for participants aged 12 and under. Group registration discounts are applied when teams reach four or ten members.
