Hurds Family Farm Spooktacular Weekend
Hurds Family Farm in Modena, NY hosts nighttime trail races that run through orchards, rolling farm roads and wooded trails. The course is set in fall scenery and parts of the route are illuminated while other sections remain naturally dark.

The main race is the Hurds Farm After Dark 5K and features professional chip timing with instant results and a commemorative finisher medal. Two children’s races are listed: the Big Kid Spooktacular 2K and the Little Kid Pumpkin Patch Dash 1K. Registration for the 5K opens on 2026-07-10 and for the kids races on 2026-07-08; registration closes for all listed events on 2026-09-01. Stated registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for each kids race.
Post-race offerings mentioned include fresh cider donuts, cold apple cider, bonfires and other activities associated with the Spooktacular Night Event. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
