Kiwanis Club of Newburgh Scholarship Run
The Kiwanis Club of Newburgh Scholarship Run is a community running and walking event held at Chadwick Lake Park in Newburgh, NY. The course is a loop of approximately 4 miles around the lake on a wide gravel trail that is relatively flat with a few small hills. The event takes place during the fall season, when park foliage is notable.
Recognition and awards are presented to the top male and female overall finishers and within age categories. T-shirts and swag bags are provided to the first 100 registrants. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for donated baskets from local businesses. Food and refreshments will be offered on site.
The event supports the Kiwanis Club of Newburgh’s scholarship efforts. Funds raised are designated for scholarships and for educational and other enrichment programs for children in the community.
