HTFI 5K Run
The 17th annual HTFI 5K Run takes place in Lincoln Park, Jersey City, New Jersey. The event is organized by Handang Tumulong, Foundation, Inc. (HTFI), a 501(c)(3) organization.
The race offers two participation options: a live, in-person event and a virtual race.
Live Race The in-person race starts in Lincoln Park. All finishers receive a commemorative shirt and a medal. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and the top three age group finishers in each gender. Pinoy (Filipino) treats and beverages are provided. Registration for the in-person race is currently priced at $45.
Virtual Race A virtual option is available for residents of the U.S. and U.S. Territories only. Participants run on their own and track their own time. There are four virtual registration options:
- Run for Charity ($30, no shirt or medal)
- Run for the Shirt ($50, includes shirt and shipping)
- Run for the Medal and Charity ($50, includes medal and shipping)
- Run for the Bling: Shirt and Medal ($60, includes shirt, medal, and shipping)
Virtual participants can submit their results and print a digital bib and finisher certificate online. For certain registration tiers, commemorative shirts and medals are shipped within three to four weeks after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
