About the race
The Howie Levy event is a community 5K run/walk held at Eisenhower Park, Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY. The course is described as flat and fast and is USATF certified.
Amenities at the event include event swag available on a first-come, first-served basis with pick-up at the venue, water and refreshments after the race, finisher medals, and raffles. Results are provided live online with free video and same-day finish line photos; additional photos are posted on social media.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Bibs can be collected in person at the event; virtual participants receive bibs shipped to them within a window that may range from one week before to one week after the event. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event may receive a personalized race number.
