Howie Levy 5K Run/Walk
The Howie Levy 5K Run/Walk is held within Eisenhower Park at Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY. The course is described as flat and is USATF certified, laid out entirely inside the park. The event proceeds rain or shine.
Registration is not yet open; the organizer offers a notification option for when registration becomes available. Race day bib pickup is available in person at the event. Personalized race numbers are offered to those who register at least three weeks before the event. Virtual bibs are shipped to participants, with a shipping window that ranges from one week prior to one week after the event. Participants must know their bib number to pick up their bib; a self lookup area is provided.
Post-race amenities include water and refreshments, finisher medals, and raffles. Event swag is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is picked up at the event. Awards are given to the top overall male and female, and to the top three male and female in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
