Course and logistics

The course climbs to the top of Double Oak Mountain, descends into Peavine Gorge, and passes Peavine Falls. An extra aid station is located near Peavine Falls. Parking is available in the large lot at the end of Terrace Drive, in front of the Dogwood Pavilion. Runners must enter the park through the South Gate. Oak Mountain State Park charges a $5 per person entry fee.

Packet pickup locations and times are listed: at Mountain High Outfitters (2000 Oak Mountain Park Rd) on the Friday before the race, and at the Cedar Pavilion at the south end of Double Oak Lake on race morning. Registration is limited to 300 runners. Registration closes on Thu, Jul 23 at 11:59 PM CT. The last day to register and be guaranteed a race shirt is Jul 7.
