Hotter N' Hell Trail Run - Pelham, AL
Hotter N' Hell Trail Run takes place at Oak Mountain State Park with the Cedar Pavilion off Terrace Drive as the event location. The course climbs to the top of Double Oak Mountain, descends into Peavine Gorge, and passes near Peavine Falls. An extra aid station is located near Peavine Falls.

Organizers note that heat is a significant factor on the course and recommend that participants carry ample water and electrolyte products. Parking is available in the large lot at the end of Terrace Drive in front of the Dogwood Pavilion. All park entry must be through the South Gate near Interstate 65 and there is a park entry fee of $5 per person.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Mountain High Outfitters at the Oak Mountain store and also at the Cedar Pavilion on race weekend. The event is limited to 300 runners. Registration closes on July 23 at 11:59 PM CT and the cutoff to be guaranteed a race shirt is July 7. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
