Hotter N' Hell Trail Run : Pelham, AL
The event takes place at the Cedar Pavilion in Oak Mountain State Park, at the south end of Double Oak Lake in Pelham, Alabama. The course climbs to the top of Double Oak Mountain, descends into Peavine Gorge, and passes Peavine Falls. An extra aid station is located near Peavine Falls.

Packet pickup is scheduled at Mountain High Outfitters at Oak Mountain Park Road on the Friday before the race, and at the Cedar Pavilion the morning of the event. Park entry requires passage through the South Gate; park entry fee is $5 per person. Large parking is available at the end of Terrace Drive in front of the Dogwood Pavilion.
Registration details include a shirt cutoff date of July 7 and a registration closing date of July 23 at 11:59 PM CT. The organizer notes the HNH race field is limited to 300 runners. Runners are advised to plan for hot conditions and to use fluids and electrolytes during the race. Updates and weekend schedule information are provided by the event organizer.
