San Francisco SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The event is a multi-distance running event held at Golden Gate Park with start and finish near the Music Concourse. The course route runs past several park landmarks and nearby sights, including the San Francisco Botanical Garden, Golden Gate Polo Fields, Japanese Tea Garden, Huntington Falls, Murphy Windmill, the Great Highway near Ocean Beach, the Bison Paddock, and the JFK Promenade.

Race services include a professionally managed course, professional timing, and free high-resolution photos delivered to participants. Registrants receive a swag kit that includes an exclusive full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal. The post-race area at Golden Gate Park features music, vendors, and a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.
A VIP upgrade called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club provides a dedicated area before and after the event, Ghirardelli hot cocoa, an exclusive shopping bag with take-home cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, upgraded onsite amenities such as a hot breakfast item and dedicated restrooms, and additional dippables.
Expo and packet pick-up are scheduled in the days before the event with a location to be determined. Packet mailing is available for a fee with a published deadline; there is no race day packet pick-up. Shuttle and public transit options are listed for access to Golden Gate Park.
