San Francisco SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in San Francisco takes place on January 10, 2027, with start and finish near the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. The event offers timed road race options and a post race party at Golden Gate Park with music and vendors.

The course runs through Golden Gate Park and passes landmarks and scenic areas including the San Francisco Botanical Garden, Golden Gate Polo Fields, Japanese Tea Garden, Huntington Falls, Murphy Windmill, the Great Highway near Ocean Beach, the Bison Paddock, and the JFK Promenade.
Finish line amenities focus on Ghirardelli chocolate offerings. Finishers receive a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa, plus a Ghirardelli SQUARE. Every registration includes a race kit with a full zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. Free high resolution photos and professionally timed results are provided to participants.
The Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is a paid upgrade that adds a canvas tote with single serve cocoa, a store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a Cocoa Club area before and after the event, and upgraded onsite amenities such as a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, and dedicated restrooms.
Expo packet pick up is scheduled for January 8 and January 9, 2027, with location to be determined. There is no race day packet pick up. Packet mailing is available for a fee until the stated deadline.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance with cash and registration prizes, and age group awards are given across standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
