Event Overview
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Dallas is a running event scheduled for February 6, 2027. It takes place at Fair Park. Participants can choose to run a 5K, 10K, or 15K. The race is professionally timed.
Race Day Details
All courses start and finish at Fair Park, home to the Cotton Bowl Stadium. The routes go through the Fair Park and Old East Dallas neighborhoods. The 15K course includes scenic views of the Santa Fe Trail and Lower Greenville. An interactive course map is available online. Parking within Fair Park is available for free until 8:00 AM through specific gates. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or carpool.
Swag and Post-Race
Every registration includes an exclusive full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. A jacket size chart is provided online. After the race, there is a post-race party at Fair Park where finishers receive a chocolate fondue finisher's mug and hot chocolate. Free, high-resolution race photos are provided to all participants.
Packet Pickup and Registration
Packet pickup occurs at an expo on Thursday, February 4 and Friday, February 5 at the Automobile Building in Fair Park. The expo is free and open to the public. There is no race day packet pickup. An option for packet mailing is available for an additional fee, with a deadline of January 17, 2027. Registration can be completed online.
Awards and Additional Options
Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, with cash prizes and free registration for the following year. Age group awards are also given. A VIP option called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is available, offering an upgraded experience with premium hot cocoa, a lounge area, a store credit, and other perks.
