BMW Dallas Marathon
The BMW Dallas Marathon is organized by the Dallas White Rock Marathon, a nonprofit group established in 1971 that promotes health and physical fitness through running events. The organization produces the BMW Dallas Marathon, described as Dallas’ largest and Texas’ longest running marathon, along with several other weekend running and walking options.

The courses pass through multiple Dallas neighborhoods, entertainment districts, and city landmarks. Tens of thousands of spectators line streets on BMW Dallas Marathon Day, which takes place on the second Sunday of December. The 2026 BMW Dallas Marathon is scheduled for December 11-13.
Since naming a primary beneficiary in 1997, the event has donated nearly $5 million to Scottish Rite for Children. Official partners and providers named for the event include BMW, Oncor, Baylor Scott & White Health, Fleet Feet, Asics, CBS Texas, HEB, and the Dallas Sports Commission.
