BMW Dallas Marathon
The BMW Dallas Marathon is organized by the Dallas White Rock Marathon, a nonprofit group focused on promoting health and physical fitness through running events and related activities. The organization was established in 1971 and produces a multi-day running festival centered on the BMW Dallas Marathon and several weekend race options.

The event draws large spectator crowds; tens of thousands of people line streets and neighborhoods on race day. The BMW Dallas Marathon is recognized as the official marathon of the City of Dallas. Since naming a primary beneficiary in 1997, the event has donated nearly $5 million to Scottish Rite for Children.
