BMW Dallas Marathon

The BMW Dallas Marathon is produced by a nonprofit organization that promotes health and physical fitness through running events. The organization was established in 1971 and organizes a multi-event race festival each December. The 2026 edition is scheduled for December 11 to 13, and the event traditionally centers on BMW Dallas Marathon Day, held the second Sunday of December.

Courses run through Dallas neighborhoods, entertainment districts and near city landmarks. Tens of thousands of spectators line streets and neighborhoods on race day. Since naming a primary beneficiary in 1997, the event has donated nearly $5 million to Scottish Rite for Children.
