BMW Dallas Marathon
The BMW Dallas Marathon is organized by the Dallas White Rock Marathon nonprofit, established in 1971 to promote health and physical fitness through running events and related activities. The organization produces a weekend of races that includes the BMW Dallas Marathon and several other timed and community events.

The courses pass through multiple neighborhoods, entertainment districts and notable Dallas landmarks. BMW Dallas Marathon Day is observed on the second Sunday of December and attracts large numbers of spectators who line streets and neighborhoods to watch participants. The event weekend for 2026 is scheduled for December 11th to 13th, and registration opens May 1st.
Since naming a primary beneficiary in 1997, the event has donated nearly $5 million to Scottish Rite for Children.
