Jingle Jog 5K : Grand Prairie, TX
The Jingle Jog 5K is a holiday-themed running and walking event held on December 12, 2026, at 2961 S State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. The event includes two distances:
- 5K
- Lil' Jingo Joggers 1K Fun Run (ages 5 to 12)
The event features Christmas-themed music along the course, a costume contest with prizes, free photos with Santa and holiday backdrops, hot cocoa and treats at the finish, and a finisher medal and shirt for participants. Youth participants in the 1K receive an untimed race bib, a finisher award that is not a medal, snacks at the finish, and access to post-race activities. Parents may run or walk alongside their children in the youth event.
Awards are given for male and female overall placings and in age groups (13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79). The organizer maintains a strict no refund policy. In the event of extreme weather, the event may be delayed, the course altered or shortened, or the event cancelled for safety; participants unable to attend may receive their packet, shirt, and medal and complete the event virtually on their own course.
