Hot Chili Challenge - Andover, NJ
The Hot Chili Challenge is a community trail running event at Hillside Park in Andover, New Jersey. The event includes adult trail races and a kids fun run, with race fees used to fund free digital mammograms.

The course uses the park’s rail trail, connector trails and park roads and passes Lake Iliff, horse farms and wooded sections. The listed course distance for the main trail loop is 7.64 miles. Course markings are environmentally safe and timing and results are provided by Compuscore.
Participant rules and awards include age minimums for each event: 8 mile runners must be 20 or older, 5K runners must be 13 or older, and kids 12 and under may enter the fun run. Awards go to the top three male and female finishers and medals are given in 10-year age groups for adults. Adult participants receive t-shirts, hobo bags and finisher medals; kids receive finisher medals only.
On-site amenities and logistics noted by the organizer include a Newater station providing water for up to 300 runners, food options including chili and vegetarian choices, multiple parking lots with guided parking, and a no-refund policy in effect since 2000.
