Hospice Run, Tunbridge Wells
The Hospice Run is a closed roads road race based at Lower Common Cricket Ground in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The course is described as undulating and the event raises funds for Hospice in the Weald to support care for people at the end of life in Kent and East Sussex.
The event has multiple race options:
- Half Marathon - open to entrants aged 17 and over; entry fee £40.
- 10k - open to entrants aged 15 and over; entry fee £30.
- 5k - open to entrants aged 11 and over; entry fee £20.
The event is described as family and beginner friendly and includes an event village and live drumming band. Participants receive a finishers medal and results are chip timed. Training plans and support are provided in the lead up to the event. Course information and route maps are to be shared by the Hospice team before the race.
