Hospice Run - Tunbridge Wells
Hospice Run marks the 20th anniversary of a community road race that raises funds for Hospice in the Weald. The event is based at Lower Common Cricket Ground in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The races take place on a closed road, undulating course around the town. Distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
All entry fees and fundraising proceed to Hospice in the Weald. Organisers ask each runner to raise £100. That £100 could fund three hours of specialist nursing care or two hours of counselling for a patient or their loved one.
Race services include a finishers medal, chip timed results, training plans and support in the lead up to the event. The event also features a large event village and a live drumming band.
