Bewl Water Autumn
Bewl Water Autumn is a biannual race series that starts near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Lamberhurst, Kent and follows routes around the reservoir. The courses run on a mix of undulating rural wooded trail and some quiet country lanes, with lake views visible for much of the route.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km: out-and-back 3.1 mile route with a well-marshalled turnaround.
- Half marathon (13.1 miles): one 12.5 mile loop plus a short initial loop.
- Marathon (26.5 miles): an initial loop then two 12.5 mile loops.
- Ultra 50 km (31.25 miles): two 12.5 mile loops followed by a 6.25 mile loop.
The organiser states the distances were measured with a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro-Solar watch and notes the marathon is slightly longer than nominal; trail line choice may cause small distance variation. Each race has a published time limit.
Event materials include course maps, GPX routes, a route video, entrant information and event medals. Photography from past events is available and past entrants have shared brief reviews.
