Bewl Water Autumn
Bewl Water Autumn is a bi-annual race series that starts near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Lamberhurst, Kent. Routes follow the reservoir and run on a combination of undulating rural wooded trails and some quiet country lanes, with lake views for most of the route.
The event offers these distances:
- 10 km out and back approximately 3.1 miles with a marshalled turnaround and 2.5 hour time limit
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles 0.6 mile loop then a 12.5 mile loop, 6 hour limit
- Marathon 26.5 miles 1 mile loop then two 12.5 mile loops, 7.15 hour limit
- Ultra 50 km two 12.5 mile loops then a 6.25 mile loop, 8 hour limit
Distances were measured using a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar watch and are noted as being as accurate as trail races can be; the marathon may be slightly longer and actual distance can vary with the line run on trails.
