About the race
Tonbridge 10k is a road race on quiet country lanes around Tonbridge, held on Sun, Apr 18, 2027. The event is organised by Running & Riding and is based at Stocks Green Primary School, Leigh Rd, Hildenborough, Tonbridge TN11 9AE, UK. The course is a loop on road and pavement: the first 8.5 km follow roads and the final section runs on pavement. The route is described as predominantly flat but includes two climbs, one after about 1.5 km and a larger one after about 7 km.
The event is chip timed and provides a finisher's medal and trophies. Facilities listed for race day include bag drop, toilets and refreshments at the race HQ. Race numbers and timing chips are collected at registration rather than posted out. Logistics notes from the event page and past participant feedback include pre-race emails sent within 48 hours, online entries closing the Thursday before the race, and an on-the-day entry option priced in cash.
The venue is accessible from the A21 and by train via Hildenborough Station. Participant feedback shows a 4.4 aggregate rating from 88 reviews. Reviews commonly mention positive marshalling and finish support, scenic countryside, and clear marking in many places. Some reviews report delayed starts, intermittent signage, and sections with traffic rather than full road closures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
