Horseneck Half and 3.5 Mile
The event takes place at DCR Horseneck Beach in Westport, Massachusetts on 05/23/2027. It offers two distances:
- 13.1 Miles
- 3.5 Miles
Registration for both events opens on 12/05/2026 and closes on 02/07/2027. Registration fees listed are $100.00 for the half marathon and $45.00 for the 3.5 Mile run.
Race amenities include a race shirt, five water stops for the half marathon and one water stop for the 3.5 Mile that features Skratch Labs rehydration drink, a finishers medal for half marathon finishers only, and free coffee at the start and finish. A post-race party is provided for participants with one hot meal, one beer ticket valid for one Black Hat Brew Works beer for those 21 or older, recovery drinks from Skratch Labs, Athletic Brewing, and Loco Coffee, and DJ music.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance and to the top male and female in these age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 plus. Team prizes go to the top three fastest teams based on the combined time of the first three team members. For every five runners on a team a growler of Buzzards Bay Brewery beer is awarded.
There is no rain date. Race management may modify, shorten, or cancel the race for safety; in the event of cancellation entries will be deferred to the 2027 race date and no refunds will be issued.
Bib and shirt pick-up is available at Westport River Winery on Saturday May 16, 2026 between 11:00am and 3:00pm, or at Horseneck State Beach on race day beginning at 7:30am.
