The Horseneck Half & 3.5M, Westport MA
The event takes place at DCR Horseneck Beach State Reservation in Westport, MA on Sunday May 17, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Horseneck Beach and includes an ocean-side finishing stretch. The race is sanctioned by USA Track and Field - Sanction #: 26-02-162975.

The Half is limited to the first 1000 participants and the 3.5M to the first 500. Registration opened December 1, 2025. Both events were reported sold out as of April 24 and the waiting list was closed as of May 4.
All entrants receive a technical race shirt and free coffee at the start and finish. The Half includes five water stops and the 3.5M includes one water stop; both feature Skratch Labs rehydration drink. Half finishers receive a finisher medal. A post-race party is provided with one hot meal, one beer ticket (or a non-alcohol option), recovery drinks, coffee, and music.
Awards include top three overall male and female finishers for both distances, age group awards in standard brackets, and team prizes for the top three teams by combined time of the first three finishers. Emergency medical services are stationed at each water stop and at start/finish. The course is open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic except for the start and finishing stretch; police will staff intersections and runners should stay to the right.
