The Mattapoisett Santa Stampede is a charity 5K run/walk held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. The event begins and ends at Mattapoisett Town Wharf, 10 Water Street, Mattapoisett, MA 02739. The course is a 3.1 mile loop that goes around Ned's Point Lighthouse and along the Mattapoisett harbor.
Entries, kit and awards
The event offers two registration categories: 5K for adults (ages 13 and up) and 5K for youth (ages 12 and under). Adult registration fee is $40; youth registration fee is $35. Santa suits will be provided to the first 500 adult registrants (one-size adult suit). Santa hats and custom race stickers will be provided to the first 100 youth registrants. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female adult finishers and the top three male and female youth finishers. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Multiple Sclerosis foundations for research and support.
Logistics
Race bibs and adult suits or youth hats/stickers have a scheduled packet pick-up in Mattapoisett a few days before the race and additional pick-up is available on the morning of the event at the Town Wharf start area. Parking options listed for the event include Mattapoisett Town Wharf, Mattapoisett Town Beach, Depot Street Bike Path parking lot, Center School parking lot, and the Route 6 lot.
