About the race
Hopson Trail Runs - Give Cancer The Bird unfolds in Honeoye, New York, offering a 5K Run/Walk and a 9K Run—the only 9K in New York—timed by Robinhood Racing. Set along wide grassy trails through WoodsEdge Retreat and established paths in Sandy Bottom Park, the course is vehicle-free and framed by fall foliage; wildlife sightings include rabbits, squirrels and the area’s resident Bald Eagles. The event benefits Thrive To Survive.
After crossing the finish, participants celebrate at Birdhouse Brewing Company with live music, a complimentary pint, and donuts; finishers receive medals, and early registrants may receive an insulated tote.
