Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2026
The Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2026 takes place on May 9, 2026, at Central High School Football Stadium in Evansville, Indiana. The event includes a 5K run and walk, a one mile Hope Walk, and a Survivor's Parade to honor people affected by cancer. Presented by Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, the program also features a cruise in car show, food trucks, community partners, and kids activities such as face painting and inflatables.
Registration for the 5K, the one mile walk, and the Survivor's Parade includes a short sleeve cotton t shirt. Children aged three and under may participate in the walk for free but do not receive a t shirt. Awards include a $100 overall cash prize for male and female winners and age group awards for the top three male and female finishers across standard age brackets.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the Chemo Buddies office at 3700 Bellemeade Ave, Suite 118 and should be completed before event day. Timing is provided by Rise Up and Run. The event is held rain or shine and no refunds are issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
