Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2026
Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2026 takes place on May 9, 2026 at Central High School Football Stadium, 5400 N 1st Ave, Evansville, IN 47710. The event program includes a 5K run/walk, a Hope Walk, and a Survivor's Parade to honor cancer survivors. Additional on-site features listed are a cruise-in car show, food trucks, community partners, and kids activities such as face painting and inflatables. The 5K/Walk events do not allow pets.

Registration, awards and logistics
Entry options shown in the event listing include paid entries for the 5K and the walk and a free Survivor's Parade entry. Registration benefits include a short-sleeve cotton t-shirt for 5K, 1-mile, and Survivor Parade registrants; children 3 and under may participate free in the walk but do not receive a t-shirt. Awards include a $100 overall cash prize for male and female winners and age-group awards for the top three male and female finishers in multiple age brackets. Packet pickup is listed at the Chemo Buddies office, 3700 Bellemeade Ave, Suite 118, with the date to be determined. Timing is provided by Rise Up and Run.
