Hope Women's Center Walk For Life 5K
The event is a timed 5K run and walk held on October 10, 2026, at Pickens Doodle Park in Pickens, SC. The course is certified and the start and finish are located at Doodle Park. The 5K is presented as family friendly and open to all ages.
Proceeds from the race will go directly to Hope Women's Center, a pregnancy care center that serves families in Pickens County and surrounding areas during and after pregnancy. The center states its belief that life begins at conception and that salvation comes through belief in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for male and female finishers and for individual age brackets. Registration includes race entry and a race t-shirt when registration occurs on or before September 27, 2026; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a t-shirt. The registration fee is $20.00.
Race packet pick up is scheduled before race day: on Thursday, October 8 in the Hope Women’s Center back parking lot and on Friday, October 9 at Pickens Doodle Park.
