Paris Mountain Half Marathon
The Paris Mountain Half Marathon is a trail event held on October 10, 2026 at Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville, South Carolina. The race is a single 13.1-mile loop that starts and finishes at Shelter #3 and reports about 2,300 feet of total elevation gain. The course mixes single-track trails and wide switchbacks and passes three lakes with waterfalls and two sustained climbs.
Organizers provide marked trails and aid stations located at mile 4.6 and mile 10.4. Aid station items may include pickles, cookies, chips, fig newtons and pretzels, and hydration options have included water, cola and ginger ale. The event is cup-less, so participants are asked to bring their own hydration vessel. Registration covers entry into the state park.
Included with registration are a finisher medal, custom race bib, a custom race tattoo, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race gathering, a hydration sample, and post-race pancakes. The event awards trophies to the top three overall male and female finishers and gives age-group awards for first through third places. Age groups span from children to an 80 plus category.
