Paris Mountain Half Marathon Run/Hike
The Paris Mountain Half Marathon is a trail race held at Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville, South Carolina. The event takes place on a single 13.1-mile loop that starts and finishes at Shelter 3. Participants navigate a variety of terrains, including single-track trails and wide switchbacks through the state park.
The course landscape features lush forests, three lakes with waterfalls, and vibrant autumn foliage. Runners experience a total elevation gain of 2,300 feet throughout the race, which includes two specific climbs and summits providing panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The event is organized as a cup-less race, and participants are required to bring their own hydration vessels. Two aid stations are positioned along the course at mile 4.6 and mile 10.4. These stations provide water, soda, and various snacks such as pickles, cookies, chips, fig newtons, and pretzels.
