Event overview
The 2026 BAM FI "Hope Without Boundaries" 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 30, 2026 at National Harbor - The Plaza Stage, 153 National Plaza, Oxon Hill, MD. The event is organized by the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit that focuses on awareness of missing persons of color and support for their families. Proceeds will fund family assistance, flyer distribution, victim recovery, burial service assistance, and related support.

Race details and logistics
Registration opens December 29, 2025. Early registration pricing and special first-50 registrant rates are listed for both in-person and satellite options. Packets for the in-person 5K must be picked up at early packet pickup (May 16 or 17, 2026) or on race day at National Harbor; packets will be mailed only to Satellite 5K registrants. Satellite registrants receive a race shirt and bag by mail and may submit virtual results by the event cutoff.
The course is described as varied terrain with some gravel surfaces and a slight incline. Timing services are provided by Charm City Run using disposable chips attached to the back of race bibs. Amenities include a race t-shirt, bib, timing chip, goodie bag, free race photos, snacks, water at the kick-off/exhibit area, along the route, and at the finish, plus on-site and online results.
