Honolulu 5K
The Honolulu 5K is a community road race held at Ala Moana Park, 1201 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814. The event offers both 5K and 10K distances and includes a race expo and post-race amenities.
Entry items and services for registered participants include a custom finisher medal, a premium race shirt, free post-race tacos, professionally timed results, and access to the post-race expo with vendors and sponsors. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Hydration on course follows a cup-free policy. Water stations are located about every 1.5 miles and use hands-free foot pedal dispensers that deliver approximately 10 oz per second; participants are asked to bring a reusable bottle or cup to refill. Teams, clubs, and community groups may host aid stations and support runners along the course.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and a registration tent at the start/finish line is available on race morning for those who miss packet pickup. Live race results are posted online during race day, with final official results available after the event. Strollers and pets are permitted where local regulations allow; strollers should remain on the right side of the course and pets must be leashed.
