Val Nolasco Half Marathon
The event takes place in Honolulu on November 8, 2026, starting and finishing at points in Kapiolani Regional Park. The course runs from the park toward Waikiki, turns onto Monsarrat and Paki, then climbs over Diamond Head. It follows Diamond Head Road past Triangle Park, turns onto 18th Avenue and Kilauea, then reaches Kalanianaole Highway out to Wailupe Circle before returning to the park via Kealaolu and Kahala Avenue, finishing at the Honolulu Marathon finish line.

Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7 at Hybrid Design, 742 Queen Street in Kaka'ako, with specific pickup times listed by the organizer. Parking is available around Kapiolani Regional Park where no posted restrictions apply.
Awards include overall prizes for the top three male and female finishers in both the half marathon and the 5K, plus age group prizes. Age group categories differ by race distance and range from youth to older adult brackets. Every finisher receives a medal, with different medals for the 5K and the longer race.
Organizers note changes to sponsorship and planned race improvements including updated custom finisher shirts, additional porta potties at the start, and extra participant schwag.
