Hawaii Running Lab Val Nolasco
The Hawaii Running Lab Val Nolasco is a road running event in Honolulu, Hawaii, organized by Shaka Racing on November 8, 2026. The event features multiple distances that start and finish at Kapiolani Regional Park on Kalākaua Avenue near the ocean side of the bandstand.

The half marathon course heads briefly toward Waikiki, turns onto Monsarrat and Paki, then climbs and descends Diamond Head. It continues past Triangle Park, follows Diamond Head Road with a turn onto 18th Avenue, then onto Kilauea and Kalanianaole Highway out to Wailupe Circle and back via Kealaolu and Kahala Avenue, finishing at the Honolulu Marathon finish line.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the half marathon and the 5K. Age group prizes are awarded: the half marathon has 14 & under, 15–19, then five year increments to 85+; the 5K has 9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, then ten year increments to 80+. Every finisher receives a medal, with different medals for the 5K and the longer race.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, November 7, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hybrid Design, 742 Queen St, Kakaʻako. Parking is available around the park where not prohibited by signs. Volunteers receive event shirt, hat, and other schwag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
