Hawaii Running Lab Val Nolasco
The Hawaii Running Lab Val Nolasco event in Honolulu includes a half marathon and a 5K that both start and finish at Kapiolani Regional Park on Kalakaua Ave, finishing at the Honolulu Marathon finish line. The half marathon course goes over Diamond Head, follows Diamond Head Road and 18th Ave, continues to Kalanianaole Highway out to Wailupe Circle, and returns to the park via Kealaolu and Kahala Ave.
Organizers announced a change in sponsorship from the Running Room to Hawaii Running Lab. They plan improved custom finisher shirts, additional porta potties at the start, and extra schwag for entrants.

- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, Kapiolani Regional Park to Honolulu Marathon finish line
- 5K Fun Run - starts and finishes at Kapiolani Regional Park
Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, November 6 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, November 7 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hybrid Design, 742 Queen St, Kaka'ako.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers for both distances. Age group prizes are detailed: half marathon top three in each group from 14 & under, 15–19, then every five years up to 85+; 5K top three in groups from 9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, then every ten years up to 80+. Every finisher receives a medal; medals differ by distance. Parking is available around the park where not prohibited. Volunteers receive a shirt, hat, and other schwag.
