Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Milwaukee
The event at Friends of Estabrook Park in Milwaukee offers multiple run options on the same day. Available events include a Half Marathon (13.1 Miles), 10k (6.2 Miles), 5k (3.1 Miles), 1 Mile untimed run, a Kid's Dash for ages 10 and under, a Volunteer then Run option, a Running Buddy Half Marathon (approval required), and a Virtual Run.
Timed races use chip timing with live results and awards. Race registration for most distances includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kid's Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a child-specific medal; it is untimed. The half marathon lists pacers. Free event photos are provided and treats are available at the finish area.
Youth pricing is noted for the 5k and 10k: 12 and under have a reduced fee. To guarantee a shirt, registrants must register by midnight on the Thursday two Thursdays before race day. The Virtual Run allows participants to run at any location and includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and mailed packet; virtual packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos starting on race day.
