Lakefront Discovery Run 2026
The Lakefront Discovery Run takes place in Milwaukee with a start at Veteran's Park and a route that tours the lakefront. The event offers multiple distances and a themed kids race, with on-course aid stations that include candy and marked monster mile points.

Pre-race registration fees are listed as $45 for the 15K and $35 for the 5K, with a $5 discount for Badgerland Striders members. Race day registration fees are listed as $50 for the 15K and $40 for the 5K; race shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. All volunteers and registered runners receive an event t-shirt, and runners who register after October 18 are not guaranteed a shirt.
Amenities include candy-laden aid stations, event t-shirts for runners and volunteers, traditional post-race snacks, themed music, and a heated tent for post-race activities. Participants in costume are eligible for a Best Costume award in female, male, and group categories; overall male and female awards and age group awards are given for the 15K and 5K across the listed age divisions.
