The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k takes place in Caledonia near Grand Rapids, Michigan. This local-themed running event is hosted at Caledonia High School and provides a variety of course lengths for different participants. The available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (50 yards)
The event features chip-timing with live results and awards for the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k distances. Pacers are available specifically for the Half Marathon participants. The 1 Mile run and the Kid's Dash, which is reserved for children aged 10 and under, are untimed. Free photos are provided for participants, and treats are available at the finish line.
Registration includes an event shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, participants must register by midnight on the Thursday two weeks prior to the race. A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend in person, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance at any location and submit their times digitally.
