Amway River Bank Run : Grand Rapids, Michigan
The Amway River Bank Run is an annual road race held in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, each year on the second Saturday in May. The 2027 edition marks the event's 50th anniversary and is expected to draw more than 10,000 participants. The event was established in 1978 and has hosted the USA 25 km Open Championships since 1995.
The program includes multiple race options and divisions. The 25K is the largest 25K road race in the United States and also features the only 25K wheelchair division in the world plus a 25K handcycle division. The event has been the site of American and course record performances in 2025 and previously hosted a men’s 25K world record performance in 1998.
