This is the 5th annual Brian Reiffer Addiction Awareness 5K Run/Walk. It is hosted by Max Effort Performance and takes place in Caledonia, Michigan, at 10011 Crossroads Ct. The event is a community gathering dedicated to remembrance, education, and hope regarding addiction.
Event Purpose
The event raises awareness about addiction and overdose. It also raises funds to support local agencies and families impacted by substance use. Over the past four years, it has welcomed approximately 200 participants annually and raised more than $50,000. Funds have supported organizations such as the Kinzler Family First Foundation, Elle’s Place, and Selah House Recovery, as well as a trust for Brian Reiffer's four children.
Event Details
The event is a 5K run and walk. It is a stroller and dog friendly event. Registration pricing includes an early bird rate of $20, a standard rate of $25, and a race day rate of $30. Early registration includes a T-shirt, but shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after May 1st. Parking signs will be present, and parking is not allowed along the street.
