Holy Halloween! 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
On October 17, 2026 Catholic Charities Atlanta presents Holy Halloween! Run to Serve at Blackburn Park Main Pavilion in Brookhaven, Atlanta. The event combines timed and untimed running and walking distances with family oriented activities and fundraising for local programs.

- 1 Mile untimed fun run
Registration opens June 24 and closes October 2. Entry fees listed for the events are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile. The organizer states that 100% of entrance fees will support vulnerable and at risk families served by Catholic Charities Atlanta programs.
Event features include encouraged costumes with a Top Costume Award presented to the three most festive participants, an awards ceremony, and on site activities such as custom coloring and art, pumpkin painting, and trick or treating. Finishers receive event apparel and tokens: 5K finishers receive a soft t shirt and a custom finisher medal; 1 Mile finishers receive a soft t shirt and a ribbon. The 5K course is USATF certified and may be used for seeding in the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Volunteer opportunities are listed for those who wish to assist.
