The Rocketshot 5K - Live For Jamie

The Rocketshot 5K is an annual run held in August and based out of Centennial High School. The course is USTAF measured and certified and the event begins and ends at the Centennial High School stadium. Registration typically opens in May.

The race was created both to honor Jamie and to raise funds for the foundation. Proceeds are used to award youth athletic scholarships, character awards, and to support school improvements in the North Fulton area. The event program includes live music along the race route, food and refreshments at the stadium, a silent auction, and a raffle.

5k race with over $500 in Dick's Sporting Goods Bonus Cash for winners
Fun Run for kids with medals for all participants

The Rocketshot name comes from a silhouette image used on early event shirts that captures a powerful shot on goal. The event schedule lists past race dates and is organized as a recurring community fundraiser and remembrance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
