Southside BeltLine 8K presented by Resurgens Orthopaedics
The Southside BeltLine 8K is an Atlanta Track Club event on the Atlanta Beltline, scheduled for August 1, 2026, at Pittsburgh Yards, 352 University Ave SW. The event features two course options and focuses on running and walking along a newly opened section of the Beltline.
- 8K for ages 9 and older, competitive with overall and age group awards.
- 3K for ages 7 and older, non competitive and sold out.
The 8K has a course time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes, equivalent to an 18 minute per mile pace. The 3K time limit is 50 minutes, equivalent to a 25 minute per mile pace. For safety, no pets or wheeled conveyances including strollers, roller skates, and bicycles are permitted on the 8K course. Dogs and baby joggers or strollers are allowed only on the non competitive 3K and will start in a separate wave. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
Pricing listed by the organizer is $65 for the 8K through July 31, 2026 with a higher race day fee if registration remains available. The 3K listed fee structure showed a lower registration price through July 31, 2026 but is currently sold out. Events are held rain or shine though lightning or severe weather may cause delay or cancellation. Sponsors include Dasani and Garmin.
