Southside BeltLine 8K
The Southside BeltLine event on August 1, 2026 is a two-distance community race on the Atlanta BeltLine beginning at Pittsburgh Yards, 352 University Ave SW. The event offers a competitive 8K and a non competitive 3K. The 3K is sold out.
- 8K (competitive, ages 9 and older)
- 3K (non competitive, ages 7 and older)
The 8K awards overall and age group winners; the 3K receives no awards though results are recorded. For safety, the 8K prohibits pets and wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers, strollers, roller skates, and bicycles. Dogs and strollers are allowed only on the 3K and will start in their own wave. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
Entry fees listed by the organizer are $65 for the 8K through July 31, 2026 and $80 on race day if registration remains available. The 3K fees were $40 through July 31 and $50 on race day when available. Course time limits are 1 hour 30 minutes for the 8K and 50 minutes for the 3K. Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine, though lightning or other severe weather may cause delay or cancellation.
