Southside BeltLine 8K
The Southside BeltLine 8K presented by Resurgens Orthopaedics is a new Atlanta Track Club race on August 1, 2026. The event takes place on the Atlanta Beltline and highlights the newest section of the Beltline. The specific location is listed as TBD.
Two distances are offered:
- 8K - competitive, ages 9 and older
- 3K - non competitive, ages 7 and older; dogs and strollers welcome
Overall and age group awards are given for the 8K only. Results will be recorded for the 3K, but no awards will be presented for that distance.
Course time limits are specified: the 8K has a 1 hour and 30 minute limit (18 minute per mile pace) and the 3K has a 50 minute limit (25 minute per mile pace). For safety, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind are permitted on the 8K course. Dogs and baby joggers or strollers will start in their own wave and are only permitted on the 3K course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
Entry fees vary by date and include additional fees. The event is held rain or shine, though severe weather or lightning may cause a delay or cancellation. Sponsors include Dasani and Garmin. The race is part of the Atlanta Beltline Race Series and finishing all four events in person earns a commemorative medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
