Southside BeltLine 8K and 3K, August 1, 2026
This event is a pair of community road races on the Atlanta Beltline, held at Pittsburgh Yards, 352 University Ave SW. The event includes a competitive 8K and a non-competitive 3K that runs on the newest section of the Beltline. As of April 30, 2026 the 3K is sold out while spots remain in the 8K.
The races have age restrictions and course time limits. The 8K is open to ages 9 and up and has a course time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes (about an 18 minute per mile pace). The 3K is open to ages 7 and up and has a course time limit of 50 minutes (about a 25 minute per mile pace). Dogs and strollers are permitted only on the non-competitive 3K; they are not allowed on the 8K.
Timing uses a MYLAPS ThinTag on the back of the bib. Unofficial results are available immediately online and results are made official roughly two weeks after the event. The 8K includes overall, masters, and age group awards with prize money for top overall finishers; prize money recipients must be Atlanta Track Club members. Race entry fees vary by distance and by registration date.
The event is held rain or shine, though severe weather may cause delay or cancellation. Limited on-site parking is available and additional street parking exists nearby; participants are expected to observe posted parking regulations.
