Holly Jolly Marathon
The Holly Jolly Marathon is an annual road running event in Camarillo, California, held at Pleasant Valley Fields Park at the Village At The Park Sports Complex. The course runs mostly along the Camarillo bike path and is mostly flat. The course is USATF certified (CA18033RS).
Race distances include:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All participants receive event items that include a finisher medal, a premium sublimated shirt, a premium runner's hat with the event logo, and a reusable tote bag. Additional race day items mentioned include a windbreaker jacket and post race food. The event provides post race street tacos; extra plates are available for purchase.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women in each race, the top three in each age group for all distances, and the top three teams in the team competition. The event also includes prizes for the best holiday costumes and offers a virtual runner option.
This is a rain or shine event. Organizers operate cupless water stations for environmental and safety reasons; reusable cups can be purchased at packet pickup or race check-in. There is an early start option for half marathon runners that requires prior notification and that participants be self-sufficient for water until aid stations are fully staffed.
