Five07 Turkey Day Dash
The Five07 Turkey Day Dash is an annual community run and walk held on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. The start and finish are at Kingsmen Memorial Field on Campus Drive, and parking is available in lots near the corner of Olsen Road and Mountclef Boulevard with volunteers on hand to assist.
The event includes two distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
The Turkey Day Dash began in 2004 and attracts nearly 3,000 participants to routes around the Cal Lutheran campus. After a three-year break, Five07 Coffee Bar relaunched the event in 2023. Proceeds are divided among three local nonprofit partners: Scouting America Ventura County, the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation, and Hospice of the Conejo. The previous year’s event raised over $81,000 for charity. A one-mile run/walk is held in memory of a longtime participant who died in 2023.
Participants receive a 100% cotton race T-shirt. The 5K awards age-group medals and top overall awards for men and women. Additional features include prizes for best costume, a raffle at packet pickup, coffee from Five07, and a DJ on site.
Packet pickup is available in Newbury Park in the days before the event. Age-group divisions cover youth through 75-plus for both men and women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
