Five07 Turkey Day Dash
The Five07 Turkey Day Dash takes place Thursday, November 26, 2026 at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. The start and finish are at Kingsmen Memorial Field on Campus Drive. Parking is suggested near the corner of Olsen Road and Mountclef Boulevard, with volunteers available to assist.
The event offers two primary distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
Proceeds are divided among three local nonprofits: Scouting America Ventura County, the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation, and Hospice of the Conejo. The event began in 2004 and was restarted by Five07 Coffee Bar in 2023. A portion of proceeds supports Conejo Valley Boy Scout troops in memory of Zack Zernik, a longtime participant who died in January 2023 while climbing in local open space.
Participants receive a 100% cotton race T shirt. The 5K awards age group medals and top overall awards for men and women. The event also includes prizes for best costume, a raffle at packet pickup for a $100 gift card, coffee provided by Five07, and music from a DJ.
Packet pickup is available on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25 at Road Runner Sports, 1714 Newbury Road, Newbury Park, CA. One person may pick up another person’s packet with a copy of that person’s ID.
