Hallucination - Johns Island, SC
Hallucination is a multi-day trail running event held November 20 to 22, 2026 at Johns Island County Park, located at 2662 Mullet Hall Rd. Runners circle a 2.6 mile wide-open, cross-country style loop; the course is shaded, relatively smooth for the park, and passes the start/finish, a tent city, and bathrooms each lap.

Registration includes race entry, event swag, food and drinks, snacks, and primitive camping with access to the park bathhouse. RV spots with electricity and water are available for an additional fee; 24 RV spots are offered. There is one aid station at the start/finish that will be stocked with typical race snacks and beverages, including hydration mix; the event is cupless so runners must carry their own cup, bottle, or bladder. Runners should carry any supplies they need for the 2.6 mile loop.
Night running in the longer events requires a headlamp or waist light and backup power or batteries. A finisher medal is awarded for completing at least one lap. Awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each time category, and a buckle is awarded for those who complete 100 miles. A canopy decorating contest is planned for 2026. Packet pickup is offered the day before at The Foot Store in Mount Pleasant and on-site during race weekend.
