Event Overview
Hallucination is a trail running event offering multiple timed distances on a loop course at Johns Island County Park near Charleston, South Carolina. It is managed by Palmetto Ultras.

The event features four timed options:
- 34 hours
- 24 hours
- 12 hours
- 6 hours
Course Details
The course is a single 2.6-mile loop on shaded, cross-country-style trails described as smooth. The loop passes by the start/finish line, a camping area, and bathrooms after each lap.
Amenities and Inclusions
Registration includes race entry, swag, and food, drinks, and snacks throughout the weekend. Primitive camping with access to a bathhouse is included for all runners; RV camping with utilities is available for an extra fee. A central aid station at the start/finish line will offer various snacks, drinks, and hot food throughout the event. Participants must bring their own cup or bottle, as the event is cupless.
Awards and Swag
All participants who register by a specified date in October will receive a hoodie. Every runner who completes at least one lap receives a finisher's medal. Top three male and female finishers in each timed distance receive awards. Runners who complete 100 miles receive a special buckle.
Additional Information
Night running is required for the 12, 24, and 34-hour events; participants must have their own light source. The event encourages participants to decorate their canopies for a contest. Bib transfers are permitted, but refunds are not offered. Volunteer opportunities are available, with hours contributing toward discounts on future race entries.
