Holiday at Home 5K and Kids Fun Run, Kettering, OH
The Holiday at Home event features a community 5K race and a separate Kids Fun Run. The event is scheduled around Labor Day in Kettering, Ohio, and proceeds support the Holiday at Home Committee, including community service scholarships, parade expenses, and weekend entertainment.

Registration fees vary by date and include a shirt and a post race treat from Sweet P's Handcrafted Ice Pops for most options. Fee tiers listed by the organizer are $30 through May 31, $33 from June 1 through July 31, $35 from August 1 through August 26, and $40 from August 27 through race day; shirts are not guaranteed for the last tier. Shirts are available through August 23. Participants may save $5 by selecting no shirt through August 26. The Kids Fun Run is free for children 8 and under and includes a shirt if one was purchased and the post race treat.
There is no onsite registration; online registration remains open until shortly before the race. Race day packet pick up is held outdoors at the finish line area only. Restrooms are available on the street near the finish area. Parking is available at Trent Arena and in the nearby neighborhood.
Awards include cash for the top three overall male and female finishers (1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50), a $100 bonus for a new course record, and medals for the top three male and female in each age group. Course record times noted by the organizer are 14:43 for males and 16:45 for females. All prizes are awarded on gun time.
The organizer states there are no refunds. In cases of foul weather, public safety concerns, pandemic conditions, or other reasons, the event may be rescheduled, canceled, or converted to a virtual race and race items will not be mailed.
