Miamisburg Triathlon
The Miamisburg Triathlon is a multi-sport event held at Riverfront Park in Miamisburg, Ohio on August 23, 2026. The race uses a river canoe or kayak start, a measured run course, and a separate road bike course. Transition and packet pickup are near the parking lot that serves as transition. Parking is available nearby and the canoe put in is a short walk from transition.
Distances for each segment:
- 2.5 mile canoe or kayak or paddleboard
- 3.1 mile run
- 10 mile bike
There are solo and two-person team entry options. Two-person team entry includes canoe rental, paddles and life vests and has a limit of 58 team spots; solo spots are unlimited. Registration fees are listed per entry category. Race procedures include ankle timing chips for split times, a visible bike number on the top tube or seat post, and a timing mat at key transitions.
Safety and course rules are specified: helmets are required, no riding in transition, no headphones on the run, and no drafting on the bike except between teammates. Roads remain open to traffic with volunteers and an officer assisting at key intersections. Post-race food and a finisher medal are provided to finishers.
