Miamisburg Triathlon
The Miamisburg Triathlon takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Miamisburg, Ohio. The event combines a paddling segment, a run, and a bike segment on courses described by the organizers.
Distances for the event segments:
- 2.5 mile canoe segment
- 5 km run
- 10 mile bike
There are two entry types: Solo Entry and 2 person team entry. A 2 person team entry includes canoe rental, life vests and paddles. The race limits 50 spots for 2 person teams; solo spots are unlimited. For team entries, partner information and shirt size are provided later in registration rather than using the Add Participant feature. Solo participants must bring their own kayak or paddleboard or make rental arrangements with Barefoot Canoe.
Race operations and course details include registration near the parking lot that serves as the transition area where participants receive a packet, shirt, a neoprene timing chip strap to wear on the ankle, and a bike number. The canoe put in is under the Linden Bridge at Case Landing on the west bank and the canoe take out is on the left east bank. The run course has a no headphone rule, one water stop, and mile markers at each mile. Helmets are required for the bike and there is no riding in transition. Drafting on the bike is allowed only between teammates and is enforced on the honor system. Post race food and refreshments are provided and results and photos are posted to the event website.
