Event Overview
The Miamisburg Triathlon takes place on August 23, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Miamisburg, Ohio. The event is a multisport race consisting of a 2.5-mile canoe, followed by a 5k run, and concluding with a 10-mile bike. The bike and run courses are described as flat.
Participation Options
Participants can enter as an individual or as part of a two-person team. The Two-Person Team Entry includes the rental of a canoe, life vests, and paddles. There is a limit of 50 spots for teams. Solo participants must provide their own kayak or paddleboard; spots for solo entries are unlimited.
Event Details
All finishers receive a custom medal. Post-race food and refreshments are provided. Registration occurs near the transition area on race day, where participants receive a race packet, shirt, ankle timing chip for split times, and a bike number. A bike tune-up station is available near the restrooms.
Course Rules and Logistics
The run course has a no-headphones rule for safety. Helmets are mandatory for the bike segment, and riding is not allowed within the transition area. Drafting on the bike is not permitted for solo participants. Roads on the bike course are open to traffic, with volunteers and traffic control at intersections.
