Germantown Fire & EMS Night Run
This community event at Kercher Park in Germantown, Ohio includes a night 5k run and a 1-mile walk to benefit the Germantown Fire and EMS Association. The event base is the park pavilion, where there is parking, music, snacks, hydration, and the start and finish area.
The course follows the community walking path around the soccer fields, through the baseball diamonds, along the disc golf course, then returns on the same route to complete an out-and-back course. Participants may run or walk and may bring headlamps or waist lights. Families can use the park play areas after the event.

Post-event activities include an award ceremony held after the last finisher, glow items such as glow sticks and light-up glasses, flashing lights, and several food trucks on site. Registration opens June 29 and closes August 29. Fees are listed as $25 for online registration and $30 for race-day registration. Extra event shirts are available for $15 through the event store.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and first-place age group awards for the following groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
