Event Overview
The 3rd Annual Duck Donut Holiday 5K and 2K Pup Strut is a community event held at a new location on Sylvan Way in Parsippany. The event features two distinct distances focused on recreational movement and community atmosphere rather than competitive timing. Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 5 km Run
- 2 km Pup Strut
The 5 km course is flat and open to runners, joggers, and walkers. Every finisher in this category receives a medal and a fresh donut from the local sponsor. The 2 km Pup Strut is a relaxed walk designed for participants and their dogs, with special treats provided for the pets at the finish line.
Participant Information
This event is held regardless of weather conditions, including rain or snow. There are no water stops located directly on the courses; however, water is provided at the finish line. There are no timed awards for these events. To guarantee a T-shirt and finisher medal, participants must complete their registration by November 9.
The event also serves as a benefit for Toys for Tots - Dover. Participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to contribute to the holiday donation drive. Packet pick-up is available on November 26 at the Duck Donuts location in Whippany, with race-day pick-up also available at the event site.
