St. Paddy's Day 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
The event takes place Saturday, March 13, 2027, with start and finish at Ginty Field in Morris Township (49 Woodland Ave., Morristown). The program includes both a 5K race and a 1 Mile fun run.

The 5K follows a well-marked, scenic course with one hill just before the two-mile mark. The 1 Mile starts at the 5K starting line next to the police station, runs about half a mile down Fanok Road, then returns to finish at the intersection of Fanok and Dwyer. Parents are welcome to run alongside children in the Mile.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in every five-year age group. Special prizes will be awarded for best costumes. Finishers in both distances receive finisher medals. The event is a 500 point USATF event.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet of Morristown on Friday, March 13 (12:00–5:00 pm) and race morning at Ginty Field (8:30–9:30 am). There is one water station around mile 2.
Post-run provisions include bananas, granola bars, water, and pizza from the Columbia Inn food truck. Dunkin Donuts items are available for the first 150 runners who visit the Operation Smile tent. Parking options include street parking on Woodland Ave., the municipal building at 50 Woodland Ave., Ginty Pool, and Woodland School.
