St. Paddy's Day 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run : Morristown
This event offers two distances starting and finishing at Ginty Field in Morris Township, with the GPS address 49 Woodland Ave, Morristown. The course for the 5k is described as scenic and well marked; it includes one hill just before the two mile mark. The 1 Mile route proceeds about half a mile down Fanok Road, turns around, and finishes at the intersection of Fanok and Dwyer. Parents may run alongside children in the mile.

Awards and participant items include finisher medals for every Mile and 5K finisher, prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers, prizes for the top three in each five year age group, and special prizes for the best costumes. The first 500 registrants receive an exclusive winter hat. Free race photos will be available.
Logistics note: the race provides street parking and additional parking at the municipal building, Ginty Pool, and Woodland School. Packets are available for pickup at Fleet Feet of Morristown on the Friday before the race and on race morning at Ginty Field. There is one water station around mile 2.
Post run offerings include bananas, granola bars, water, pizza from the Columbia Inn food truck, a DJ, raffle prizes from sponsors, and Dunkin Donuts to the first 150 runners who visit the Operation Smile tent.
