Hitchin 10K

The Hitchin 10K is a scenic running event held in Hitchin, featuring a unique course that starts and finishes in the historic town center market square. The 10K route includes a closed-road north loop around the town, a clockwise south loop through the villages of Gosmore and Charlton, and finishes with a final town center loop. The course is mostly flat with one small climb and includes mile markers and marshals for safety.

The event also incorporates the Herts Senior Championships and offers amenities such as electronic timing, live results, drink stations, medical support, and an event village with food and drink stalls. Participants receive a race bib with timing chip, a medal, and can purchase high-quality T-shirts. A children's Golden Mile race is also held.
