History Hustle - Albion, MI
History Hustle is a Run Albion event held in Albion, Michigan on June 26, 2026, at 400 S. Superior St. The event features in-person and virtual options and highlights local history by routing participants past historic sites and locations tied to Albion’s past.
Race options include:
- 5K Run/Walk open to strollers and dogs on leashes.
- Kids Fun Run for youth participants.
- Virtual 5K completed at any chosen course between June 26 and June 28.
Registration fees for the in-person and virtual 5K are $30; the Kids Fun Run has no fee. Students aged 18 and under receive a $10 discount automatically at checkout for the 5K. Run Albion uses registration fees and sponsor support to fund the series and donates those fees to local nonprofit organizations; in 2024 the series donated $4,500 to five nonprofits.
The Michigan Running Foundation provides professional chip timing for the in-person race. Accurate chip times, overall and age-group places are transmitted to participants by text and posted online. All participants receive a finisher medal. In-person awards are given to the top five men and top five women, and participants earn points toward series scoring; eligibility for series awards requires participation in two of the three Run Albion events.
