Timing is chip timing provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, with electronic results available via text or email if selected.
Race swag for in-person participants includes a screen-printed race shirt, a winter-themed finisher medal, and a custom bib. Post-race food options are planned, including gluten-free and dairy-free items; a food truck is possible. Parking arrangements include a grass field at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds and alternate lots for snow conditions.
Awards and special categories
There are 19 five-year age-group categories from 10 and under through 90+, with awards three deep in each category. Overall awards will be given to the top three finishers (male and female) in two overall groups: 0-60 and 60+. Additional awards include slowest-in-age-group prizes, dog awards for fastest dogs and the last dog, novelty awards, and a "Longest Drive" award with a $20 gas card.
