Event overview
The Hills Triathlon Club Race 5 is part of the 2025/2026 Hills Triathlon Club series and takes place in Penrith at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, with entry through Gate A. Registration and transition are located on the grassed area just over the bridge on the island near the grandstand; a course map will be available at the registration tent. Event formats listed include Sprint, Aqua Bike, Aqua Run, Sprint Team, Enticer and junior races. A Dinky Derby for children aged 6 years and under may be held after the main event, subject to numbers and volunteer availability. There is a cap on junior entries.
Entry, fees and race procedures
Entries have standard and late windows; late entries incur a $20 late fee. Pricing varies by membership and entry timing; for example, Sprint on-time fees shown are $40 for club members, $60 for non-members and $75 for non-members when a one-day licence is included. Withdrawal policy allows a refund of the race entry fee only if requested more than 7 days before the race; no refunds are given from 7 days to race day.
The event uses an electronic timing chip on an ankle band that must be worn on the left ankle during the race and returned intact or a $75 replacement fee applies. Qualified first aid personnel will be on duty. There is a drink station on the run leg and toilet blocks approximately 100 metres behind the eastern end of the grandstand and in the boat shed. AUS Triathlon rules apply. Supporters must not accompany competitors on course by biking, driving or running. Live results will be published online after the race.
