About the Event
The Hike for Hospice Hustle marks its 10th anniversary in Okotoks, Alberta. This community gathering raises vital funds for the Foothills Country Hospice Society to support hospice care and families in the Foothills community. The event takes place along the scenic Sheep River pathways, utilizing the local paved trail system.
Running Events (Hustle Run)
The running routes are designed by the Big Rock Runners and follow the river pathway system. These courses are officially timed, and participants receive a chipped bib for accurate results.

Walking Events (Hike Walk)
The walk options are accessible and open to a wide range of participants. These routes are stroller, wheelchair, and scooter friendly. Leashed dogs are also permitted to join participants on the walking paths.

Event Logistics
The central event zone is located at Ethel Tucker Centennial Park, adjacent to the Okotoks library. The venue hosts family-friendly activities, food trucks, and aid stations. Participants can collect their event packages, which include an optional t-shirt and race bib, during early pickup sessions or on the morning of the event. Race results are posted on-site and online following the completion of the runs. The event proceeds rain or shine, except in the case of extreme weather warnings.
