2026 Hike for Hospice Hustle
The 10th annual Hike for Hospice Hustle takes place at Ethel Tucker Park, 7 Riverside Drive, in Okotoks along the Sheep River pathways. The event raises funds for Foothills Country Hospice with a fundraising goal of $100,000; to date $657.55 has been raised and 26 participants are registered.
Available distances include:
- 2k walk
- 5k walk
- 5k timed run
- 10k timed run
The 2k and 5k walks follow paved river pathways and are wheelchair, stroller and scooter friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome. The 5k and 10k Hustle runs are officially timed with chipped bibs; results will be posted on site and online. Participants can opt to receive an event t shirt during registration. Children aged 9 and under register for free and a child size t shirt can be purchased for $10. Participants 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Event day features include family activities, food trucks and aid stations in the event zone. Event packages can be picked up in advance at Sobeys Okotoks or at the event zone on the day. Portable toilets are available at the start and finish area only. Walkers may turn back at any time. The event takes place in most weather conditions; registrations are non refundable.
