Event overview
The Millarville Run To The Market takes place Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Millarville, Alberta at the Millarville Racing & Agricultural Society. The weekend features the running events, the Millarville Farmers’ Market opening day and an evening music concert. A cycling Gran Fondo ride called the Chinook Classic is scheduled for Sunday with distances of 60 km, 100 km and 150 km. The Millarville Farmers’ Market is described as the oldest and largest outdoor market in southern Alberta and is about 35 minutes south of Calgary.

The event uses a new out-and-back course and offers multiple distance options:

- 10 km
- 21 km
- Virtual (any distance)
The race is professionally organized and chip-timed with live web results on Zone4. Aid stations are located at 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, 10.5 km, 13.5 km, 16 km, 18.5 km and the finish line. The Cinnamon "Bunner" division provides cinnamon bun stations at 2.5 km and 7.5 km; participants must consume a whole bun at each station to qualify for the division. A $100 prize is awarded to any top "Bunner" who beats the top "Runner" (male and female) in each distance. Race entry includes a finisher tech t-shirt with an optional medal, bun division rolls, aid station support and post-race refreshments. Entry fees listed are $49 for 5 km, $59 for 10 km, $83 for 21 km and $49 for the virtual option. Package pickup details are to be announced.
