Millarville Half Marathon - 2027 edition
The Millarville Run To The Market takes place on Saturday, June 12, 2027, on a new out-and-back course. The event offers three distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km
Aid stations are located at 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, 10.5 km, 13.5 km, 16 km, 18.5 km and at the finish. The Cobs Baker Shawnessy "Bunner" division provides cinnamon bun stations at 2.5 km and 7.5 km; buns and frosting are available to participants in any distance. To qualify for the Bunner ranking a participant must consume a whole bun at each station. A $100 prize is awarded to the top Bunner who beats the top Runner, male and female, in each distance (5k, 10k, 21k).
The race is professionally organized and chip-timed with real-time web results. Registration for 2027 is open; listed entry fees are 75 USD for 5k, 85 USD for 10k and 115 USD for 21k. Race entries include a long sleeve finisher’s tech t-shirt, finisher’s medal, Bunner rolls, aid station support and post-race refreshments. The event coincides with the Millarville Farmers’ Market opening; the market is located in Millarville, about 35 minutes south of Calgary.
