High Bridge Challenge
The High Bridge Challenge combines two Virginia Adventures races on High Bridge Trail State Park in Farmville, VA. The challenge requires completing a paired set of races—the Freight Train in May and the Night Train in June—and awards a special handcrafted prize to participants who finish both.
Both events use the High Bridge Trail, a former rail corridor converted to a state park. The trail is generally flat and includes bridge crossings; the Freight Train course crosses the bridge twice. The Night Train is held in the evening and is described as running under fireflies and moonlight, with a finish that includes a bridge crossing.

- 26k Combo: Night Train 5k plus Freight Train Half Marathon
- Marathon Combo: Night Train Half Marathon plus Freight Train Half Marathon
- 100k Combo: Night Train 50k plus Freight Train 50k
- 150k Combo: Night Train 50k plus Freight Train 100k
Early registration pricing applies for entries submitted before April 1, with higher fees starting April 1. Registration closes May 7.
