High Bridge Challenge

Event Information

The High Bridge Challenge involves completing a combination of distances from two separate running events: the Freight Train in May and the Night Train in June. Both events take place on the High Bridge Trail in High Bridge Trail State Park, Virginia.

Participants can register for several combination distances:

• 26k Combo: Night Train 5k + Freight Train Half Marathon
• Marathon Combo: Night Train Half Marathon + Freight Train Half Marathon (totaling 26.2 miles)
• 100k Combo: Night Train 50k + Freight Train 50k
• 150k Combo: Night Train 50k + Freight Train 100k

Completing a chosen combination earns a special award. The High Bridge Trail is a former rail trail. Registration pricing increases after April 1st. The challenge registration closes on Thursday, May 7. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
