Door County Hey Hey 5k : Baileys Harbor
The Door County Hey Hey 5k is a 3.1 mile loop that starts and finishes at the Door County Brewing Co. taproom and runs through the back roads of Baileys Harbor. The event is presented by Door County Brewing Co. and organized by the Peninsula Pacers.
The race is chip timed. The course includes one aid station near the halfway mark offering water and Tailwind Energy Formula. At the finish there will be water, Tailwind and light snacks, plus beer or a root beer float with custard provided by Harbor Custard.
Packet pickup is available at the Door County Brewing Co. taproom on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Runners may register on site during packet pickup times. Parking is available along Hwy 57.
Registration opens in late May and fees increase in stages, with a final price for race day and on site registration. Kids age 6 to 14 have a separate entry fee and children 5 and under may participate for free but will not receive chip timed results, a bib, or a shirt unless they are registered. Register by August 24 to guarantee a shirt size.
Prizes include Door County Brewing Co. gift cards for top overall and masters finishers and special prizes for finishers 14 and under.
