Door County Hey Hey 5K : Baileys Harbor
The Hey Hey 5K is a community road race in Baileys Harbor that begins and ends at the Door County Brewing Co. taproom. The course is a single loop of approximately 5K (3.1 miles) on the back roads of Baileys Harbor.
The event is presented by Door County Brewing Co. and organized by the Peninsula Pacers. The race is chip-timed and includes one aid station near the halfway mark offering water and Tailwind Energy Formula. At the finish, participants may choose beer or a root beer float with custard and receive a finisher’s pint. Race shirts and additional race swag are provided to registered runners; shirt size is guaranteed only for those who register by the stated deadline.
Packet pickup and on-site registration are available the evening before the race at the taproom and on race morning during the organized packet pickup window. Parking is available along Hwy 57. The event allows strollers and dogs, with a request that participants using strollers or running with dogs start toward the back of the starting chute.
Awards include Door County Brewing Co. gift cards for the top three overall male and female finishers and for top masters, plus special prizes for finishers 14 and under.
